Laura Pausini was born in Faenza (May 16 1974) and she is an Italian singer. She achieved notoriety in 1993 with the victory in the category New Proposals at the Festival di Sanremo.
During his career he has also sung in Spanish, Portuguese, English and French.
It is one of the most popular Italian singers, and is currently the most popular on the international level, especially in Latin America and Europe.
He has sold over 50 million records worldwide in just 16 years of career.
In November 2005 he won the Latin Grammy Award for best female pop album with Escucha.
On 8 February 2006 she was awarded the Grammy Award, recognizing the international music considered equivalent to the Oscar film awards.
On 8 November 2007 she won for the second time the Latin Grammy for best female pop album with “Io canto”.
In 2006 she was awarded the title of Commendatore della Repubblica Italiana.
Hes World Tour 2009 “Primavera in Anticipo” (Spring in advance) began March 5 in Turin and one of the dates for the summer tour is July 11 in Campania, and precisely at the Mostra d’Oltremare in Naples.
The concert offers for the presentation of the new album “Primavera in Anticipo ” released November 14, starting with the first single extract “Invece No’ and then moving to songs that have decreed the success of this artist, such as ‘Strani Amori’ and ‘Gente’. In just sixteen years the singer has reached high levels: just think that she was the first woman to hold a concert in the San Siro Stadium (2 June 2007).
In his latest work there is an interest in social issues, an example is the song “Sorella Terra” wishing to attract the attention on environmental issues. The song is followed by a video that actually shows the damage that man has caused to nature.
Among the new songs presented there are ‘Bellissimo così’, ‘Un fatto ovvio’, ‘Nel modo più sincero che c’è’ and of course the song that gives the title to his new cd ‘Primavera in anticipo’. To close the concert there is the song ‘La Solitudine’ the song that won Sanremo the 1993.
The concert wants to be a sort of presentation of what the singer has become today, without forgetting the beginnings of the little girl by Solarolo.
The concert takes place at the Mostra d’Oltremare. This is an polifunctional environmental park: architectural, historical, cultural, integrated throughout the whole area in West Naples and engaged in several activities.
The Mostra d’Oltremare, located in the district Fuorigrotta, has 4 entrances on: Piazzale Tecchio, Viale Marconi, Viale Kennedy, Via Terracina.

From all major Italian and European cities to Capodichino Airport; then by taxi about 15 minutes, or using the bus leading to Piazza Municipio (hence bus to Fuorigrotta) or the Central Station (from here on Subway – Line 2 – Campi Flegrei station).
