The Terme di Saturnia Golf Course, a wonderful sports surface that stretches over 100 hectares, is one of the major attractions offered by the Terme di Saturnia hot springs, a noted thermal complex in the Maremma. The golf course offers its guests 18 holes and is one of the largest in the province of Grosseto.
The course, dedicated to those passionate about golf, is seen as a little piece of paradise, with small hills, a stream, a lake and a wonderful green lawn. The project was, in fact, carried out with a great and profound consideration of the environment, the territory and the naturalistic elements, maintaining the landscape in its original state and splendor throughout the entire building process.
Located in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, the course allows players to not only practice their sport in a tranquil and beautiful environment, but also allows them to be pleasantly distracted by the charming Maremman scenery that surrounds them; the villages, the countryside and the rolling hills. In fact, from the golf course you can see the impressive peaks of Amiata Mountain and admire the villages of Saturnia, Poggio Murella and Montemerano, small pieces of history, with medieval castles and a rich and unique culture.
The golf course was designed by the noted architect Ronald Fream, a name both highly credited and appreciated in the world of golf course construction. The course is one of the most elegant and important elements of the thermal complex at Saturnia, offering guests the chance to practice their skill and exercise, whilst the hot springs themselves provide the ideal location for relaxation, well being and tranquility.
